Why Sky Talent Exists

Hiring decisions are still mostly made on CVs, gut feeling, and interviews that research has shown to predict job performance about as well as a coin flip. Better tools exist — psychometric tests with decades of validation behind them — but they are locked behind enterprise pricing, certification courses, and consulting contracts that put them out of reach for the companies doing most of the hiring.

We built Sky Talent to close that gap. The same Big Five science that companies pay 50–200 EUR per candidate for, available from around 3.30 EUR per test. No certification. No consultants. No multi-year contracts. A platform any manager can use without specialist training.

We are not trying to reinvent personality science. We are trying to make the existing science available to the people who need it most — managers and team leads at companies with 10–100 employees who are doing the hiring themselves.

Built by Test Specialists

Sky Talent is built and maintained by specialists with decades of experience developing psychometric tests. The platform is not a repackaged white-label tool. The questions, scoring logic, reporting, and the underlying test design have been built by someone who has spent their career in this field.

That matters because psychometric testing is easy to fake. Anyone can write 50 personality questions and call it a Big Five test. Very few people can build one that produces consistent, comparable results across thousands of candidates and dozens of languages. The expertise is in the test design and the validation work, not in the user interface.

You are not buying a brand. You are buying the science behind the test and a platform built by someone who knows what they are doing.

The Science We Stand On

Our personality test is built on the Big Five (OCEAN) model — the most researched personality framework in psychology. It has 60+ years of peer-reviewed studies behind it, conducted across more than 50 countries. It is the scientific foundation behind every serious commercial assessment, including SHL's OPQ, Saville's Wave, and Hogrefe's NEO PI-R.

Our AI Readiness test is built in-house by the same specialist, using the same psychometric construction principles. It measures applied AI competence across four progressive levels — what a candidate can actually do, not what they claim on a CV. It is, as far as we know, the first hiring-focused AI competence test built on proper psychometric foundations.

An aptitude test (logical reasoning) is on the roadmap and will be available in 2026.

We Are New. Here Is Why That Is Fine.

The Sky Talent platform was built in 2026. We do not have a long list of customer logos, case studies, or retention statistics — and we will not pretend otherwise. Anyone who has been in B2B SaaS long enough has seen how easy those numbers are to fabricate.

What we do have is a specialist with 10+ years building tests like these, and a product that you can try for free in under five minutes without speaking to a salesperson. The test report itself is the demo. If the science and the report quality do not convince you, no case study will.

The company entity behind the platform is Sky Talent ApS, a Danish limited company. We pay our taxes in Denmark, we host candidate data in the EU, and we operate under EU data protection law.

  • Show transparent pricing on the website. No 'contact sales' for a quote.
  • Let you choose monthly or yearly billing — and cancel before the next renewal, either way.
  • Give you a real free test — full report, no account, no credit card.
  • Support candidates in their own language. Currently Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, German, and English.
  • Host data in the EU and operate under EU data protection law.

What we will not do

  • Sell or share candidate data with third parties.
  • Require certification courses or consulting contracts to use the platform.
  • Lock features behind enterprise tiers that are only revealed on a sales call.
  • Lock you into multi-year contracts. Yearly billing is optional and renews one year at a time — never longer.
  • Fabricate customer counts, retention rates, or testimonials.

Sky Talent is operated by Sky Talent ApS, a Danish limited liability company headquartered in Denmark. The platform runs at app.skytalent.ai and is hosted within the EU.

We process candidate data under EU data protection law (GDPR). Candidate test results are kept only as long as you need them for the hiring process and can be deleted at any time from the dashboard.
